Cassette Air Conditioning Systems

Cassette units work the same way as a conventional split air conditioning system, with the difference being that cassettes are installed into the ceiling instead of on the wall.

The indoor unit sits flush against the ceiling and distributes the cool air in different directions through two, three or four sides of the unit.

The condensor unit is mounted outside, in much the same way as it would be for a conventional split air conditioning system.

Cassette units require large ceiling spaces to accommodate the indoor system, therefore are generally more appropriate for larger commercial areas or open plan living spaces.
