Project Overview
Buderim Air recently completed the supply and installation of a new dual temperature cold storage facility for The River Bar in Buddina.

The project comprised the construction and commissioning of:

  • 1 x Freezer Room
  • 1 x Cool Room

The facility was designed to provide reliable temperature-controlled storage while maintaining operational efficiency, food safety compliance and long-term durability in a coastal environment.

Our team supplied and installed:

  • Insulated EPS panel construction
  • New refrigeration systems
  • Electrical and control systems
  • Internal lighting and switchgear
  • Refrigeration pipework and drainage
  • Temperature monitoring and alarm controls
  • Marine-grade epoxy coated flooring

The installation included:

  • Coastal-treated condenser units suitable for corrosive environments
  • Energy efficient evaporator systems
  • Fully insulated refrigeration pipework
  • Heated freezer drain lines to prevent freezing
  • Hygienic stand-off mounted pipework for ease of cleaning
  • Weatherproof lighting and electrical components
  • Dedicated temperature alarm monitoring

Temperature Control Settings

Cool Room:

  • Set point: 2°C
  • High temperature alarm: +8°C
  • Low temperature alarm: -3°C

Freezer Room:

  • Set point: -20°C
  • High temperature alarm: -4°C
  • Low temperature alarm: -24°C

The rooms were constructed using 100mm and 150mm EPS insulated panels with marine-grade epoxy coated flooring for durability and hygiene.

Each system was pressure tested, vacuum dehydrated and commissioned in accordance with industry best practice.

The completed installation provides The River Bar with reliable dual temperature storage designed for commercial hospitality operations, with a strong focus on performance, serviceability and long-term reliability.
