ERROR CODES
All air conditioning systems come pre-programmed with a list of error codes which display on the control panel when the unit is running a fault.
The typical error codes can display for a variety of reasons including communication faults between the outdoor and indoor units (usually due to burnt out or faulty PC boards), blocked filters or low refrigeration gas charge.
How can I get the unit running again?
The first point of action will be to RESET the system at the electrical isolator located next to the outdoor unit. This will reset the system and clear the fault. Hopefully this is all that is needed and the unit will start up and run again.
Should the fault reappear, the air conditioning system will need to be INSPECTED by a qualified technician to run through a series of tests. This will determine the exact nature of the fault and provide solutions for the repair.
